Understanding your shortcomings and weaknesses when it comes to our illustration technique is extremely helpful when it comes to improving and growing as a creative. Eliminating any blindspots you might have, and incorporating new tips/ suggestions/ best practices allows you to approach practice in a more strategic and efficient way.

Style Refinement

Without a doubt, having a unique, recognizable illustration style is one of the cornerstones to success as an illustrator. Drawing from my “Illustration Style Academy” lessons we will work together to establish and develop a style that is unique to who you are as a person, and as a creative!

Social Media/ Portfolio Strategy

Like it or not, we live in a time where recognition and success as a creative ultimately stems from your portfolio, website, social media presence, or all of the above! In our sessions together we will make sure that you’re setting yourself up for success by properly using the tools and platforms available to you to attract you dream brand, client, or customer.

What to Expect:

I’ll send you a secure payment link, and once completed, you'll get a login link through which you can go ahead and schedule a time for our first session together.

Hit the “Apply” button, complete my intake form, and I will get back to you as soon as I can (usually within 1 business day) to let you know if I think we’d be a good match for the Mentorship Program!

After each individual session you will receive an email containing a summary, as well as action items (AKA homework). You will also receive a link to book in your next session. You can choose to book your sessions in as soon as you like, or you can space them out, all up you will have 6 months to complete the mentorship.

As part of our first session, we will work together to understand your current level of expertise, define your illustration goals, and establish a learning plan for the rest of our sessions.

FAQs

I’m new in my Illustration journey, is this mentorship for me?

The 1:1 Illustration Mentorship Program is designed to cater to each students individual experience level. There is no minimum level of experience required, and I encourage complete newbies to apply! This mentorship program will help set you on the right track, and get you to where you want to be ASAP!

How long does it take to work through the mentorship?

The mentorship is 6 sessions in total, which depending on you, can take a little as 6 weeks, or you might choose to space out the sessions to a maximum of 6 months. Every student is different, so you are free to take your time.

Can I just pay for lessons as I go?

Yes! There is a “pay as you go option”, meaning that you will pay for each session individually, however, the 6-session “pay-in-full” option does come out cheaper!

What software/ program is this mentorship for?

This mentorship is software agnostic, meaning that you can use/ work with any software or medium you like! That being said, I specialize in the Adobe suite, and so any technical tips/ advice are going to be limited to Adobe products.

When/ what time do the mentorship sessions take place?

You will receive a link to schedule a time and date that works for you.

What format are the sessions?

Each session is a virtual video call. You will receive an invite to our session via email.

If I book a session but something comes up, can I reschedule?

You can re-scheduled up to 3 hours before our session together.
